However, I made an observation on the “background to the work” which I think it is inappropriate and should be corrected. Okpe, Urhobo and Uvwie are not diverse languages. Rather, Okpe and Uvwie as well as Udu, Ughievwen are all dialects of the Urhobo language. I humbly request that this statement should be corrected so as not to misinform\mislead future readers.

Thank you Ofejiro. This evaluation was based on linguistic studies. It is possible for one ethnic nation to speak several languages. That is the case of Urhobo people – one people, three languages, and according to Rose Aziza, Professor of Linguistics, 15 dialects.
